I’m a Fashion Communication student at Central Saint Martins. I work across video, text, editing and graphics. I’m drawn to playful, satirical and parodic angles in my projects that still carry a critical message. I like to make work that starts off familiar in format, then gradually transforms into something unexpected.
Most of my ideas begin with a specific obsession or detail I can’t stop thinking about, i.e a garment, a headline, an online meme, a person I meet, or a political event. I’m especially interested in subjects where dress and power overlap: uniforms, what gets presented as “normal”, and who gets taken seriously. I’m always trying to make my work feel fresh because the angle is fresh.
I often use familiar formats because they’re easy to read: search pages, “official” documents and settings, simple archives, clean project pages. That helps the work land quickly, and then I can use tone, structure and detail to make it distinctive. Humour is one of my favourite ways to get an idea across, without turning the work into a lecture.
Right now I’m focused on building a portfolio that feels curated with tighter writing, better pacing, and projects that feel specific and current.
